Jangmin Kim is an Assistant Professor at the University at Buffalo's School of Social Work. His research focuses on macro practice interventions to address systemic challenges in child welfare and community organizations, emphasizing social justice and equity for marginalized populations. He holds a PhD in Social Work from Indiana University, along with multiple MSW degrees from Portland State University and Jeonbuk National University, and a BA from Jeonju University.
Key research areas include organizational interventions for culturally responsive workforce development, family-centered practice implementation, and addressing racial disparities in child welfare systems. He has collaborated with the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services through the Title IV-E Child Welfare Partnership program, focusing on workforce advancement.
