Dr. Janet Parker is an Adjunct Assistant Professor and former Director of the Master of Arts in Education Program at Cumberland University. She previously served as an Assistant Professor at Delta State University and has extensive K-12 teaching and administrative experience, including roles as a principal, literacy coach, and teacher. Her research focuses on early literacy in high-poverty areas and English Language Learners, with conference presentations globally. She transitioned to adjunct status to prioritize family time while maintaining academic engagement.
