Janet Harvell is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Worcester's Institute of Education, Department of Children and Families. With over twenty years of UK and international teaching experience across State, Independent, and PVI sectors, she specializes in early childhood education. Her work includes managing day nurseries, serving as an Ofsted Early Years Inspector, and establishing accredited Childminding Networks.
Her research examines preschool provision in China, refugee predicaments, and COVID-19 impacts on education systems. She integrates experiential learning through international residentials in Beijing and Amsterdam.
