Jane Vickers is a Senior Lecturer in English for Academic Purposes at Nottingham Trent University's School of Social Sciences, serving as Course Leader for the Pre-sessional EAP program while delivering bespoke In-sessional Academic English sessions for the School of Art & Design.
Her educational qualifications include:
- MA in English Language Teaching and Applied Linguistics from King’s College, London
- Cambridge RSA Diploma in English Language Teaching to Adults (DELTA)
Her research emphasizes innovative pedagogical approaches in language education, focusing on creative teaching methodologies to boost learner engagement, evidence-based materials design, and digital community construction within synchronous online classrooms. These interconnected interests address critical challenges in contemporary EAP instruction through experimental classroom practices.
