Jane Sisk is a Senior Lecturer in Education at the University of Worcester, specializing in Post Compulsory Education. She serves as Course Coordinator for the ITE FE Partnership and has held roles such as Teaching and Learning Coordinator in a large FE college. Her work focuses on curriculum development for qualifications like the Diploma in Education and Training (DET), CPD programs, and Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) development.
Education qualifications include a BA (Hons) in French Language and Literature from the University of Sheffield, Post Graduate Cert Ed in ESOL from Manchester Polytechnic, and an MEd in Educational Administration from the University of Birmingham. She is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (2017) and holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Higher Education (2017).
Her notable contributions include leading a JISC-funded project (2002-2006) producing digital learning resources available on Jorum, and pioneering e-portfolio systems for post-compulsory trainee teachers. She has also earned awards for integrating ICT in post-16 teaching.
