Professor Geoffrey Elliot serves as the Professor of Post-Compulsory Education at the University of Worcester, with a 25-year tenure spanning roles in Access and Widening Participation, Lifelong Learning, Research, and Knowledge Transfer. His expertise lies in the student learning experience, ethics in education, impacts of UK education policy, and college-based higher education.
- Qualifications: BA Hons (Lancaster), PGCE (Oxford), MA (Lancaster), EdD (Bristol).
He chairs the UK Association for Research in Post-Compulsory Education and has been Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Research in Post-Compulsory Education since 1995. Geoffrey also mentors colleagues, supports research development, and consults for institutions like the University of Sunderland. Awards include Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) (2012).
