Jane Manners is an Associate Professor of Law at Fordham University School of Law. She specializes in Torts, Legislation and Regulation, and American Legal History, with a scholarly focus on 19th Century constitutional history, particularly congressional and presidential powers.
- Education: J.D. and B.A. from Harvard University, Ph.D. in American History from Princeton University
- Prior appointments: Assistant Professor at Temple University, Fellow at NYU School of Law, Columbia Law School, and The New York Historical
Her research explores historical legal frameworks surrounding congressional petitioning, presidential war powers, and laws governing officer removal. Publications include contributions to the Fordham Law Review and Columbia Law Review. She clerked for Chief Judge Mark L. Wolf of the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
