Dr. Jane Freeland is a Lecturer in History at Queen Mary University of London and a Fellow of the Institute for the Humanities and Social Sciences. Her primary research focuses on the history of women and gender in modern Germany and Europe, with particular emphasis on 20th-century feminist movements, activism against domestic violence, reproductive rights, and the intersection of feminism with media.
