Jan Pawlowski

Jan Pawlowski is a Principal Investigator and Staff member at the Institute for Theoretical Physics, Heidelberg University, Germany. His academic journey includes a habilitation (2003), doctorate (1994), and diploma (1990) in Physics from Heidelberg University, supervised by Prof. Dr. Heinz J. Rothe.

His research spans Quantum Chromodynamics (QCD), Quantum Gravity, and Non-Equilibrium Physics, with a focus on functional renormalization group methods, spectral functions, and topological data analysis. Recent work explores gluon mass gaps, chiral symmetry breaking, and gravitational instantons.
