Jan Grimm

Jan Grimm, MD, PhD, is a Professor at the Gerstner Sloan Kettering Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences and leads the Jan Grimm Lab within the Molecular Pharmacology Program at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC). His research integrates nanotechnology, chemistry, and physics to develop innovative cancer diagnostics and therapies, with a focus on prostate cancer through Prostate-Specific Membrane Antigen (PSMA) targeting and Cerenkov/optoacoustic imaging modalities.

Recent publications highlight advancements in Cherenkov tomography, optoacoustic imaging, and PSMA-targeted radiotracers. Trends include multimodal imaging systems and non-mammalian disease models like caterpillars for reducing rodent use in research.
