Jan Cornelissen

Jan Cornelissen is a Professor of Hematology at Erasmus Medical Center (MC) in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. He specializes in internal medicine and hematology, leading the Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation (HSCT) program and conducting pre-clinical research on umbilical cord blood transplants. A prominent figure in the field, he chairs the Dutch-Belgium cooperative study group HOVON and has held leadership roles in the European Blood and Marrow Transplantation (EBMT) Group and the Dutch Society of Hematology.

Clinical Focus: Treatment of acute leukaemia and blood diseases. Leadership in HSCT program and pre-clinical research.
