Jamie Lynch serves as the Dean of Arts and Sciences at St. Norbert College, where he previously led the Natural and Social Sciences division. He holds a Ph.D. in Sociology from The Ohio State University and a B.S. in Sociology from Western Washington University. Lynch’s research focuses on societal inequality, the education-health gradient, and public health, with teaching expertise in statistics and socialization. He advocates for liberal arts education and innovative academic initiatives.
His scholarly interests include exploring how educational attainment influences health outcomes, causal pathways between socioeconomic factors and well-being, and the role of parenting and policy in mitigating disparities.
