Dr. Jamie Livingston is an Associate Professor in the Department of Criminology at Saint Mary’s University, Halifax, Canada. His research critically examines intersections between mental health, substance use, and criminal legal systems, focusing on stigma, criminalization, and recovery processes. He holds a Ph.D. in Criminology from Simon Fraser University (2011), an M.A. in Criminology (2001), and B.A./Honours in Psychology (1998/99) from the University of Prince Edward Island.
