Jamie Fogg is an Instructor in the Department of History at the University of Northern Colorado, affiliated with the College of Humanities & Social Sciences. She specializes in teaching survey courses on Early and 20th Century American History, History of Colorado, and mentoring student teachers in the History Secondary Education program. Additionally, she serves as Regional Coordinator for the Northeast Colorado Region of National History Day.
Her educational background includes a Ph.D. in Higher Education and dual M.A. degrees in History from UNC, alongside B.A. degrees in History and Anthropology from the same institution. Her research focuses on antebellum culture, gender issues in US history, Native American cultures, and educational equity.
Jamie has been recognized with the Graduate Dean’s Citation for Outstanding Thesis and Excellence in Graduate Studies. Her work emphasizes making education accessible and inclusive across diverse student populations.
She is committed to pedagogical innovation and curricular equity, particularly in how education shapes American identity. Her office is located in Ross 3285A, and she holds regular office hours on MW 1:15-2:15pm.
