Dr. Jamie Buchan is a Lecturer in Criminology at Edinburgh Napier University's School of Applied Sciences. His research focuses on the sociology of punishment, community justice reforms in Scotland, and the application of Bourdieusian theory to penal systems. He has contributed extensively to restorative justice policy development and has analyzed the impact of Scottish devolution and Brexit on criminal justice approaches.
