Jamie Brandenburg is a Lecturer in the Department of Sport Management, Wellness, and Physical Education at the University of West Georgia's College of Education. She joined in Fall 2019 with a background in healthcare, public health, and social work.
Her education includes an M.S. in Public Health from Benedictine University (2019), a B.S. in Public Health from Walden University (2017), and an LPN from West Georgia Technical College (2013). Brandenburg is certified in multiple health domains including Functional Nutrition and Chronic Disease Self-Management.
Her professional experience includes roles as a Chronic Disease Coordinator and Diabetic Educator at Tanner Health System, where she managed clinical data collection for a $2.4 million CDC grant. Her research focuses on improving community health outcomes through education and public health initiatives.
