Jamie Adams is an Associate Professor and Area Coordinator of Painting at the Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts, Washington University in St. Louis. He holds a BFA (1983) from Carnegie Mellon University and an MFA (2000) from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. His practice focuses on figurative art, surrealism, and the intersection of identity, cinema, and historical tradition. Notable exhibitions include 'Dollhouse Dreams' (2025) and 'Cinematic Bodies' (2010, curated by Adams).
