James Westphal is the Harvey C. Fruehauf Professor of Business Administration and Professor of Strategy at the Ross School of Business, University of Michigan. He co-directs the Interdisciplinary Center for Organizational Scholarship (ICOS) and holds a BA from the University of California, Davis, and a PhD from Northwestern University. His research focuses on strategic management and organizational theory, emphasizing social and psychological processes within corporate governance and decision-making.
