Dr. James Walsh is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Political Science at the University of Colorado Denver, affiliated with the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (CLAS). He has been teaching since 1998, joining the Political Science Department in 2013, and received recognition for 25 years of service in 2023. His expertise spans Labor and Immigration History/Politics, U.S. Social Movements, Irish American History, and Community Theater. Walsh founded the Romero Theater Troupe in 2005, an all-volunteer group dedicated to preserving stories of human rights struggles through performance.
