Annelise Orleck

Annelise Orleck is Professor of History at Dartmouth College, specializing in U.S. political history, women's activism, race and immigration. Her research examines grassroots movements, particularly focusing on poverty, labor rights, and marginalized communities.

Current projects include 'Low Wages: I’m Not Lovin’ It' on global labor movements and 'Reflections Through A Glass Closet' on lesbians in American progressivism. Her courses cover U.S. political history, women's radicalism, and immigration.
