James Olson

Dr. James (Jim) Olson is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Mechanical, Aerospace, and Nuclear Engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI). With a career spanning the U.S. Navy, General Electric, and academia, he specializes in nuclear engineering education, curriculum development, and STEM outreach. His work integrates pedagogical innovation with technical expertise in energy systems and nuclear technology.
