James O. Fabionar

James O. Fabionar, PhD is an Assistant Professor of Teacher Education with the Department of Learning and Teaching at the University of San Diego (USD). Prior to joining USD, he served as a lecturer at California State University, Sacramento, and was a former high school history and social science teacher.

Research Interests: His work focuses on ethnic studies, Asian American studies, social science education, and educational policy, with particular attention to curriculum development and school organization. He also explores intersections of cultural identity in educational settings.
