James McQuiston

Dr. James McQuiston is an Associate Professor of Political Science at Southern Arkansas University, affiliated with the Department of History, Political Science & Geography. His research focuses on e-government, technology integration in public administration education, and digital governance. He holds a B.A. from DePauw University and a Ph.D. from Kent State University.

His work emphasizes innovative teaching methods like Kahoot in political science courses and explores IT competencies in public policy curricula. He has collaborated extensively with Aroon Manoharan on studies about e-government coursework and digital age governance. His research spans comparative public policy, curriculum development aligned with NASPAA standards, and legislative analysis of employee ownership incentives.
