James G. Murphy

James G. Murphy, Ph.D., is a Professor in the Department of Psychology at The University of Memphis. His research focuses on addictive behaviors, behavioral economics of substance use, and development of brief interventions targeting high-risk populations such as college students, military veterans, and non-college adults. He emphasizes technology-based interventions and mechanisms of behavior change.
