James Davis

Associate Professor James Davis is an academic in the School of Education at Queensland University of Technology (QUT), specializing in science-STEM education with a focus on risk, failure, and entrepreneurial capabilities in education systems. He holds an honorary role as Co-Editor-in-Chief (2025-2027) for Springer's Research in Science Education. His research spans complexity thinking, societal risk discourses, and antifragile educational systems, with transdisciplinary work across micro-, meso-, and macro-level educational contexts. Davis collaborates internationally, particularly in China and South-East Asia, and has contributed to national curriculum development in the UAE.
