James Clackson is a Professor of Comparative Philology at the Faculty of Classics, University of Cambridge. His academic career spans over two decades at Cambridge, including roles as University Reader (2012-2016), University Senior Lecturer (2001-2012), and University Lecturer (1997-2001) in Classics.
