Jal Mehta is a Professor of Education at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, specializing in educational leadership, policy, and systemic reform. His work focuses on transforming industrial-era school systems into modern, human-centered learning organizations. He is the author of The Allure of Order and co-editor of The Futures of School Reform, as well as the co-author of the award-winning In Search of Deeper Learning. Mehta co-hosts the podcast Free Range Humans and leads initiatives like the Deeper Learning Dozen, a community of practice dedicated to equitable school transformation.
