Jakub Stefaniak

Jakub Stefaniak is a musician, accordionist, composer, and lecturer associated with the Stanisław Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gdańsk since 2021. He holds a Master's degree in accordion performance from the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice, where he studied under Prof. Joachim Pichura and Dr. Piotr Chołołowicz.

• Education: Bachelor's and Master's in Accordion (with distinction) from Katowice Academy of Music; Doctoral School participant (since 2021) at Gdańsk Academy of Music.

His research and artistic practice focus on accordion performance, chamber music, and 20th-century Russian music, with a strong emphasis on interdisciplinary collaborations. Notably, he released the album "Letter for... Sławiński Accordion Works" featuring premiere recordings of Paweł Sławiński's compositions.
