Jakob Møller-Jensen

Jakob Møller-Jensen is an Associate Professor and Head of Department at the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, University of Southern Denmark. With a PhD in his field, he maintains an active research program with 67 publications to date and leads departmental operations.

His research focuses on molecular microbiology with emphasis on host-pathogen interactions and pathogenic bacteria. His work primarily investigates Escherichia coli and uropathogenic strains, examining their behavior in urinary tract infections, plasmid dynamics, and bacterial morphology changes during infection processes.
