Jakkrit Sangkhamanee

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jakkrit Sangkhamanee is an Associate Professor of Anthropology at the Faculty of Political Science, Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, Thailand. Holding a PhD in Anthropology from the Australian National University, he serves as Deputy Dean of his faculty and Director of the Politics and Global Studies (PGS) Program.

Expertise: His research spans Science & Technology Studies (STS), environmental anthropology, infrastructure studies, and multispecies ecologies. He examines intersections between urban sustainability, political ecology, and Anthropocene challenges in Southeast Asia, focusing on Bangkok's atmospheric politics, Mekong hydropower conflicts, and techno-maternal ontologies.
