Jaime Zurheide

Jaime Zurheide serves as Associate Professor and Associate Chair of Curriculum in the Department of Education at Elmhurst University's School of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, where she focuses on special education pedagogy and curriculum development.

Her academic credentials include a B.A. in sociology from the University of Missouri-Columbia, an M.A. in Learning and Instruction from the University of San Francisco, and a Ph.D. in Special Education with an M.Ed. in Measurement, Evaluation, Statistics, and Assessment from the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Dr. Zurheide's research centers on preparing educators to support students with emotional and behavioral disabilities, specifically examining teacher-student relationship quality and classroom behavior management strategies.
