Jaejoon Woo is a Professor of Economics at DePaul University's Driehaus College of Business with a distinguished career spanning academia, the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), and Bank of America Merrill Lynch (BAML). His expertise lies in macroeconomics, fiscal policy, and emerging Asian economies, particularly South Korea.

Scientific Awards include the Distinguished Alumni Award from Yonsei University (2021) and the Lawrence W. Ryan Distinguished Teaching Award at DePaul (2025).
