Jade Perkins serves as a Lecturer Practitioner in Sport and Exercise Therapy at Anglia Ruskin University (ARU), affiliated with the Faculty of Science and Engineering and School of Psychology, Sport and Sensory Science in Cambridge. She joined ARU in 2022 after prior experience developing Sports Therapy curricula at other institutions.

Dr. Perkins specializes in sports therapy, anatomy, and clinical assessment techniques, with expertise in musculoskeletal ultrasound imaging and manual injury diagnosis. Her research interests span Sports Therapy, Anatomy, Physiology, and Clinical Skills development, informed by hands-on experience working pitch-side in Rugby Union and mass participation events. She maintains active private clinical practice alongside her academic role.
At ARU, she leads the Anatomy and Joint Assessment module and Contemporary Issues in Sport and Exercise Therapy for the BSc program.
