Jade Dillon-Craig

Jade Dillon-Craig is an Associate Professor of Children's Literature and Young Learners at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), specializing in visual and textual representations of childhood and girlhood. She co-founded the Children's Literature Education and Research (CLEAR) group and serves as a founding board member of the Association for Research on Children's Literature in English in Norway (ARLCEN).

Research Focus merges multi-theoretical frameworks with:

• Gendered body representation in YA literature
• Girlhood agency in digital/physical texts

Her 2024 Kvalifiseringsstipend for Kvinner supports collaboration with Seven Stories (UK) and International Youth Library (Germany) for multiliteracy research. Supervision includes 15+ MA/FoU theses on topics ranging from transgender representation to feminist film analysis.
