Dr Jacquie Tinkler is a Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Arts and Education at Charles Sturt University, Wagga Wagga. She joined the faculty in 2008 as a full-time lecturer in educational technology and technology studies, bringing extensive secondary schooling experience as an art/design teacher, computer teacher, and eLearning coordinator, alongside adult education expertise in community-based IT training.
Research Interests: Her work focuses on digital technologies in education, analyzing school communities’ adoption and experiences with edtech, neoliberal influences on schooling, and youth political engagement. Notable themes include remote learning during the pandemic, mathematics education, and pedagogical innovation.
Teaching: Jacquie designs and delivers undergraduate and postgraduate subjects on educational technologies, digital pedagogy, and ePortfolios in the Masters of Education program.

- Charles Sturt University Executive Deans Teaching Award (2021)
- Charles Sturt Excellence Award for Social Responsibility (2024)
Professional Engagement: Active in the School of Education Teaching and Learning Committee (2013–present), Association of Learning Technologies (ALT) (2018/19), and Australian Association of Research in Education (AARE) (2013, 2016). Co-led projects on STEM teaching competence and pandemic-era education evaluation.
