Clayton Smith is a Lecturer in Equine Science at Charles Sturt University's School of Agricultural, Environmental and Veterinary Sciences. He graduated from Charles Sturt University in 2012 and spent 11 years in mixed clinical practice in Narrandera, Leeton, and Wagga Wagga, focusing on large animal reproduction. In 2023, he earned the MANZCVS certification in Animal Reproduction. His teaching career includes mentoring undergraduate students and new graduates, transitioning him into academia.
Research interests revolve around equine and large animal reproduction, clinical practice, and veterinary education. He emphasizes hands-on experience with large animals and integrates his clinical expertise into teaching. Clayton is based at the Wagga Wagga Campus, Building 229, Room 148.
