Jacqui Shykoff is a Senior Research Scientist at Université Paris-Saclay, affiliated with the Laboratoire Écologie, Société et Évolution (IDEEV). She serves as Director of the doctoral school ED 567: 'Sciences du Végétal' and leads the Evolutionary genetics and ecology team.
- Education: Doctorate from Universität Basel, Masters from Bowling Green State University, Bachelor from University of Toronto.
Her research focuses on:
- Adaptation mechanisms
- Host-parasite interactions
- Plant-mutualist and plant-pollinator interactions
- Evolution of reproductive/breeding systems in flowering plants
She teaches scientific communication in the Master BEE program and doctoral courses on manuscript/project writing. Her career spans institutions in Switzerland (ETH-Zürich), The Netherlands (IOO), and France (Orsay).
