معرفی
Dr. Jacqueline Stair is a Reader in Analytical Chemistry at the University of Hertfordshire, affiliated with the School of Life and Medical Sciences and the Department of Clinical, Pharmaceutical and Biological Science. She leads the Psychopharmacology, Drug Misuse and Novel Psychoactive Substances Unit, focusing on analytical chemistry applications in forensic science, drug development, and material science.
Her research spans forensic drug analysis (e.g., NPS detection using Raman spectroscopy), polymer science (thermoresponsive gels), and veterinary drug quality assurance. Collaborations include projects on antimicrobial nanoparticles, biostimulants, and drug formulation evaluation. Notable projects include developing duckweed-based biostimulants (2024-2025) and studying copper oxide antimicrobial properties (2021-2023).
- Key Research Areas: NPS detection, forensic chemistry, thermoresponsive polymers, veterinary drug quality, chemometrics
- Grants & Projects: 13 funded initiatives from 2008-2025
Labs/Teams: Active in the Centre for Research in Mechanisms of Disease and Drug Discovery, contributing to interdisciplinary drug development and analytical methodologies.
