Jacqueline Parr is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Nutrition at the University of Georgia’s College of Veterinary Medicine, leading the Small Animal Clinical Nutrition Service. Her roles span academia, industry, and private practice, offering a unique interdisciplinary perspective. She holds adjunct roles at the Ontario Veterinary College (University of Guelph) and has been actively involved in veterinary nutrition organizations.
Education: DVM from Ontario Veterinary College (2009), MSc in Biochemical and Molecular Nutrition from Tufts University (2013), Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Nutrition (2015). Completed post-doctoral work at OVC to develop Canada’s first Clinical Nutrition Service.
Research focuses on evidence-based animal nutrition and veterinary education. Known online as 'The Kibble QueenTM,' she emphasizes social media engagement and teaching innovation. Awards include the Canadian Best in Show Award (2018) and global recognition in industry awards.
Volunteer and leadership roles include: Secretary of the American Academy of Veterinary Nutrition (2015–2017), Member-at-Large of the American College of Veterinary Nutrition Executive Board (2018–present), and Global Committee member for the Global Animal Nutrition Summit 2020.
