Jacqueline L. Hogan is a Professor of Sociology and Anthropology at Bradley University, where she has taught since 2000. She directs ADVANCE BU, an NSF-funded initiative addressing intersectional inequities in academia, and contributes to Women’s Studies and Study Abroad programs. Her work includes co-founding Bradley’s Body Project, which combats eating disorders through interdisciplinary collaboration.

Her recent work examines sexual violence narratives in media and conspiracy ideation in right-wing populism, reflecting a long-term focus on cultural critiques of power and identity.
Her publications span journals like Journal of Australian Studies, Journal of Sport and Social Issues, and Crime, Media, Culture, with books including Consuming Bodies (2025) and Lincoln, Inc. (2011). These works synthesize theories of embodiment, nationalism, and neoliberalism.
