Jacob Wüsthoff Linder

Jacob Wüsthoff Linder is a Professor of Physics at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), appointed since 2013. He earned his Ph.D. in Physics in 2009 and is a core researcher in the Center of Excellence QuSpin at NTNU (2017–2027). His research focuses on quantum condensed matter theory, particularly quantum transport phenomena in materials with mixed properties, superconductivity, and magnetism. Linder serves as a Divisional Associate Editor for Physical Review Letters and contributes to the Great Norwegian Encyclopedia in quantum physics-related categories.

Research interests revolve around understanding exotic quantum behaviors in nanoscale materials through theoretical models. His work emphasizes the interplay between superconductivity, magnetism, and spin-orbit interactions, often collaborating with experimental groups internationally.
