Jacob Hochhaus

Jacob Hochhaus is a Researcher at the University of Siegen, affiliated with the Chair of Business Information Systems and New Media and the Mittelstand-Digital Center for Rural Regions. He holds a background in Economics (University of Mannheim) and Plural Economics (University of Siegen). His research focuses on employee participation mechanisms, trade union adaptation to socio-ecological and digital transitions, and organizational change in dual transformation contexts.

Previously, he worked at NELA eV, collaborating with trade unions on socio-ecological transformation initiatives since 2024. He became a research fellow at NELA in May 2024 and joined the University of Siegen's academic team in June 2024.
