Jaclyn Stevens

Jaclyn Stevens is an Interim Director and Senior Research Scholar at the Professional Learning and Leading Collaborative within the Friday Institute for Educational Innovation at North Carolina State University. Her work focuses on empowering educators to create adaptive, student-centered learning experiences through digital literacy, instructional technology, and AI integration.

• M.Ed. in Instructional Technology from NC State University
• Graduate Certificate in Instructional Design from NC State University
• BFA in Media Design from SUNY Fredonia

Her research addresses curriculum innovation, technology access, and instructional coaching. She is licensed in North Carolina as an Instructional Specialist, Instructional Technology Facilitator, and Secondary Digital Media and Language Arts educator. Stevens has led professional learning initiatives since joining the Friday Institute in 2010, with a focus on translational research and transformative educator development.

Stevens is affiliated with key initiatives such as the Computer Science For All Leadership Team, North Carolina Digital-Age Learning Initiative, and Online Professional Learning programs. Her expertise spans educational coaching, school partnerships, and program management, grounded in her background in media design and AmeriCorps experience.
