Jacki Klaczak Kopack

Jacki Klaczak Kopack, PT, DPT, EdD, is an Assistant Professor in the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at Harrisburg University of Science and Technology, joining in 2023. With 23 years of experience in physical therapy higher education, she has held roles such as professor and program director. Her expertise spans pathophysiology, kinesiology, functional anatomy, and evidence-based practice.

Dr. Kopack holds a B.S. and M.S. in Physical Therapy from St. Joseph’s University (formerly University of the Sciences), a DPT from Temple University, and an EdD in Executive Leadership from the University of St. Augustine.

Her research focuses on teaching and learning in DPT education, interprofessional/intraprofessional education, and behavioral styles impacting student outcomes. She authored the textbook Principles of Therapeutic Exercise for the Physical Therapist Assistant (Routledge, 2023) and has presented nationally on PTA education and faculty development.

Before academia, she practiced clinically for 30 years across ICU, acute care, and rehabilitation settings, serving as a clinical director and education coordinator.
