Maryclaire Capetta, PT, DPT, is an Associate Professor-in-Residence and Interim Director of Physical Therapy at the University of Connecticut. She practices as a Physical Therapist and Clinical Instructor at the Nayden Rehabilitation Clinic, specializing in orthopedic manual therapy, lymphedema management, and neuromuscular rehabilitation since joining in 2007.

Her research and clinical expertise focus on orthopedic manual physical therapy, lymphedema management, wound care, and neuromuscular physical therapy. Her work emphasizes integrative approaches to musculoskeletal and post-operative rehabilitation.
Maryclaire has received significant recognition, including:
- American Physical Therapy Association Emerging Leader Award (2009)
- Fellowship in orthopedic manual therapy from the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists (2013)
She serves as Faculty Advisor to the Student American Physical Therapy Association and holds leadership roles in the Connecticut Physical Therapy Association, including Chief Delegate to the APTA House of Delegates (2012–present) and Treasurer (2011).
