Holly Clynch

Holly Clynch is a Professor in the Physical Therapist Assistant programs (BS and AAS degrees) at St. Catherine University, where she has served as a faculty member since 1998. She has held the role of Program Director for the PTA program from 2015 to 2025. Her academic credentials include a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) and Master of Arts (MA) in relevant fields.

Dr. Clynch’s research and teaching interests focus on regulatory issues in healthcare, leadership development in academic settings, and geriatric physical therapy. She is a Board-Certified Specialist (emerita) in Geriatric Physical Therapy and maintains active involvement in professional organizations.

Her leadership roles include former presidency of the APTA Minnesota chapter, membership on the APTA Nominating Committee and Academy of Education Board of Directors, and current mentorship in the APTA Academy of Education Fellowship in Higher Education Leadership. She also serves as a trustee for the APTA PT Political Action Committee.
