Jack MacLennan is an Associate Professor of Political Science at Park University, where he also serves as Senior Director for Strategic Initiatives and Communications and Special Assistant to the President for Governance. Previously, he was the Graduate Program Director for National Security Studies (2019-2024).
His research focuses on International Relations, Political Theory, and National Security Studies. His doctoral training at Carleton University emphasized the importance of research synthesis and reflective analysis in addressing complex governance challenges.
Dr. MacLennan has received notable recognitions including the President’s Award for Teaching Excellence (2020) and the Dusing-Proudfoot Award (2023) for outstanding university contributions.
