Jack Heslop

Jack Heslop is a Researcher at the University of East Anglia’s School of Environmental Sciences, affiliated with the Centre for Ocean and Atmospheric Sciences, Environmental Social Sciences, and Geosciences research groups. His work focuses on assessing climate change impacts, particularly sea-level rise, coastal flooding, and human migration patterns. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree and has contributed to global studies on environmental adaptation strategies.

Research interests include long-term climate projections, disaster risk management, and sustainable coastal development. His 2025 study in Frontiers in Marine Science evaluated economic costs of coastal flooding under IPCC scenarios, while his 2024 conference paper explored human exposure to sea-level rise over centuries.
