Dr. Jack Beazer is a Researcher at the University of Glasgow's Glasgow Biomarker Research Unit within the School of Medicine, Dentistry and Nursing. He holds a BSc (Hons) in Pharmacology and Physiology from the Medway School of Pharmacy (Universities of Kent and Greenwich), followed by an MRes in Translational Medicine and a PhD (awarded 2024) focusing on HDL composition and vascular function in insulin-resistant conditions like obesity, type 2 diabetes, and pregnancy complications under Dr. Dilys Freeman's supervision. His research explores biomarker discovery for cardiometabolic and neurological conditions using -omics data and lipoprotein metabolism analyses.
