J. Mark Taylor

J. Mark Taylor is an Associate Professor and Chair of the Building Construction Program at the McWhorter School of Building Science, Auburn University. He previously served as the Undergraduate Program Chair before his current role. His research interests include law, project delivery systems, business management in construction, and scheduling methodologies.

• Education: Juris Doctor (University of Alabama), Ph.D. in Civil Engineering (Texas A&M), Master of Building Construction (University of Florida), B.S. in Building Construction (Auburn University).
• Certifications: Licensed Attorney (inactive), LEED-AP, DBIA Design-Build Professional.

Dr. Taylor actively supports student engagement through competition teams and summer camps that introduce high school students to construction management. He has led initiatives like the Annual Awards Banquet and oversees programmatic growth in the school.
